When used as a diesel fuel additive, the following statement applies. This diesel fuel additive complies with the federal low sulfur content requirements for use in diesel motor vehicles and nonroad engines.

ENGINE: zMAX helps restore combustion valve and piston ring sealing resulting in a smoother running engine and more power.

FUEL SYSTEM: zMAX in the fuel tank will help lubricate injector pumps, clean injector nozzles, clean carbon residue off valves and pistons restoring compression.

If Used in the Engine

Class 6, 7, & 8 Heavy Duty Over the Road Vehicles: Up to 32 quart capacity, add 16 oz. (1/2 quart) of zMAX. For more than 32 quart capacity, add 32 oz. (1 quart) of zMAX. Retreat every 30,000 miles or every other oil change with a minimum of every 4 months.

"Off-Highway" Vehicles & Stationary Engines: Up to 32 quart capacity, add 16 oz. (1/2 quart) of zMAX. For more than 32 quart capacity, add 32 oz. (1 quart) of zMAX. Retreat every 250 hours or a minimum of every 4 months.

Class 1-5 vehicles: Add 16 oz. of zMAX to engine oil. Retreat every 6,000 miles or every oil change with a minimum of every 4 months.

If Used in the Fuel

Class 6, 7, & 8 Heavy Duty Over the Road Trucks: For best results and for fuel capacities from 50 to 150 gallons per tank, add 1 qt. (32 oz.) of zMAX to each fuel tank in use. Retreat every 20,000 miles or a minimum of every 4 months.

Class 1-5 Trucks: For best results, add 16 oz. (1/2 quart) of zMAX to the fuel tank in use. Retreat every 250 hours or a minimum of every 4 months.

Off-Highway Vehicles & Stationary Engines: From 10 to 30 gallons, add 16 oz. (1/2 quart). Over 30 gallons, add 32 oz. (1 quart) . Retreat every 6,000 miles or a minimum of every 4 months.
Caution: For diesel, do not treat less than 10 gallons.

Marine Engine Instructions:

Engine: Add 2 oz. of zMAX Formula per quart of engine oil. When changing oil in stern drive lower units: Add 2 oz. of zMAX Formula per quart of oil.

Transmission: Add 1 oz. of zMAX Formula per quart of gear oil or transmission fluid. FOR BEST RESULTS, INSTALL zMAX, THEN BRING ENGINE UP TO OPERATING TEMPERATURE.

Recommended Retreatment Schedule
All watercraft should be treated with zMAX Formula every six months or beginning and ending of short seasons.

Marine Fuel Instructions:

Instructions for Use in 2- and 4-Cycle PWC's

2-Cycle: Mix fuel and oil to manufacturer's specifications and then add 1 ounce of zMAX Personal Watercraft Formula per gallon of fuel/oil mixture.

4-Cycle: OIL: Add 2 oz. of zMAX to each quart of engine oil every 12 months. FUEL: Add 2 oz. of zMAX to each gallon of fuel. Bring the engine up to operating temperature.

 

zMAX Motorcycle Instructions:

4-Cycle Treatment: Pour 6 oz. of the bottle into the fuel tank and another 6 oz. into the crank case. Use every 6 months. IMPORTANT: If your fuel tank capacity is less than 5 gallons and/or crank case capacity is less than 3 quarts, add 2 oz. per gallon of fuel and 2 oz. per quart of oil.

2-Cycle Treatment: Mix fuel and oil to manufacturer's recommendation, THEN ADD 1 oz. of zMAX to each gallon of fuel. Use every 6 months.

For best results, use every 6 months or 6,000 miles. zMAX must be used with normal oil as specified by the manufacturer's instructions.

 

zMAX Small Engine Instructions:

2-Cycle Treatment: Mix fuel and oil to manufacturer's recommendations, then add 1 oz. of zMAX Formula per gallon of fuel/oil mixture.

4-Cycle Treatment: OIL: Add 2 oz. of zMAX Formula to each quart of engine oil every 6 months. Use anytime, but is best with each oil change.  FUEL:  Add 2 oz. of zMAX Formula per gallon of fuel.

Recommended Retreatment Schedule
For best results, use zMAX Formula in fuel consistently and treat engine oil every 6 months or 50 hours.
