zMAX for Diesel Engines
Built for Diesel. Proven Under Pressure.
Why Diesel Engines Need More Protection
Diesel engines operate at higher compression ratios and cylinder pressures than gasoline engines, which places greater load on internal components and can contribute to increased wear and deposit buildup over time. Fuel injectors, piston rings, cylinder walls, bearings, and valvetrain components all operate under demanding conditions, especially in engines used for towing, hauling, commercial service, or extended idle time.
zMAX uses the engine oil and fuel as carriers to reach internal components, helping reduce friction, wear, and carbon deposits throughout the engine and fuel system. In the fuel system, it can help reduce deposits that affect injector performance and combustion efficiency. The same benefits apply to turbocharged diesel engines.
Big Rigs, RVs, and Larger Diesel Equipment
Large diesel engines often see long service intervals, heavy loads, and periods of storage or limited use. zMAX helps protect internal metal surfaces during operation and helps reduce friction, wear, and deposit buildup over time.
Note: zMAX does not replace engine oil. Continue changing your oil at the manufacturer's recommended interval.
For best value, shop the zMAX Heavy Duty 3-Pack or the zMAX Heavy Duty Gallon. For bulk and fleet quantities, call 888-534-1101.
How to Use
Add zMAX Micro-lubricant to your engine oil and fuel every 6 months or 6,000 miles, or follow your manufacturer's recommended service interval for larger commercial vehicles and equipment. Use zMAX Transmission Formula after each transmission fluid change. zMAX works in gasoline and diesel engines and in compatible automatic and manual transmissions.
Proven in Locomotives
zMAX has also been used in locomotive diesel applications, where fleet testing has documented benefits related to combustion efficiency, fuel and oil consumption, emissions, and operating performance. Read the case studies.
